“The slap” has dominated the news for the past week. Will Smith’s assault and battery of Chris Rock at the Academy Awards shocked movie fans around the world. What surprised me is that so many followers of Yeshua/Jesus went on social media to justify the slap as a man standing up for his wife. Here’s what happened. Chris Rock, while hosting the Academy Awards, ad-libbed an inappropriate joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. It was about her hair which is affected by a medical condition. After initially laughing, Smith walked on to the stage and smacked Rock across the face. He followed that up by shouting a vulgar admonition at Rock. I really don’t like watch the Academy Awards, but I did record it to watch it, so I can fast forward things that may be inappropriate. But what I also saw was that more believers than I would have anticipated took to social media to justify what Will Smith did as a man standing up for his wife. Is this what the Scriptures teach about loving our wives? Let’s take a look.
According to Ephesians 5:25, husbands are to “love their wives as Messiah loved the church,” sacrificing himself for her. In Ephesians 5:28-29, husbands are again exhorted to love their wives by nurturing and cherishing them. Frankly, these words are a great reminder to all of us men, to seek to meet the needs of our wives before meeting our own. The Bible teaches that husbands are to be sacrificial, servant leaders in their homes, not domineering and demanding overlords. But does that require physical assault against someone making an unseemly joke about a wife?
Let’s remember what else Ephesians teaches. In Ephesians 4:26 it says, “Be angry and do not sin.” Certainly, a person would be right to be angry upon hearing his wife insulted. Yet, how should we express that anger. There are three tests we should examine to check our anger.
First, there is the sin test. This means we’re to express our anger without losing our cool and falling into sin ourselves. For example, if my wife were to be in physical danger or facing assault, and there is no other way to protect her other than by assaulting her attacker, then yes, that’s what I should do. And I should do it sacrificially, even if it means bringing pain or even death to myself. But if a man insults my wife privately, then I should calmly and verbally address the man and rebuke him. If it is a public insult, then it’s appropriate to rebuke the insult in a calm, firm and yes public, way. Will Smith could have walked onto the stage and told Chris Rock that he crossed a line in his comedy and apologize to my wife. Doing that would have won Smith accolades for his care for his wife. Anger turns to sin when we allow the anger, instead of Scripture, to rule our behavior.
The second check is the sun test. Ephesians 4:26 goes on to say, “Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath.” This refers to addressing issues immediately and not protracting dealing with the offense that makes us angry. We need to deal with offenses as soon as we can (before the sun goes down) so that anger doesn’t turn to bitterness. When we’re bitter, it eats us up, and doesn’t solve the issue that caused anger.
The third check is the Satan test. The next verse says, “and don’t give the devil an opportunity” (Eph 4:27). Satan will exploit bitterness because he loves division. He will accuse and incriminate us if we convey our anger sinfully. He uses wrong expressions of anger to destroy our reputations and careers. That’s why Denzel Washington, the critically acclaimed actor and outspoken follower of Yeshua/Jesus, immediately told Will Smith, “In your highest moments, be careful; that’s when the devil comes for you.” Just 15 minutes after the slap, Will Smith won the best actor award. It should have been the mountain peak moment of his career. Instead, it has cast him into the deepest valley.
So what can we take away from “the slap.” Most of us really don’t care about the doings of celebrities and their wild behavior. It’s interesting gossip but it doesn’t change the world. But the truth is that most of us, when angry, act out, say or shout inappropriate words, and damage our relationships. So, we can look at Will Smith as a cautionary tale for us. We too need to check ourselves with the three anger tests. A long time ago, a friend of mine quoted these words from Robert Ingersoll and I’ll never forget them: “Anger is the wind that blows out the lamp of the mind.” Let’s seek God’s help to control our anger. And remember Psalm 141:3, “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
A second take away is to learn compassion and forgiveness. Will Smith has apologized publicly and now he’s resigned from the Motion Picture Academy. There will certainly be other harsh consequences in his life. I hope he turns to Denzel to get help, maybe he’ll even come to the Lord Yeshua/Jesus and experience God’s eternal forgiveness. I hope Chris Rock forgives him too. Maybe, we need to forgive and care for Will Smith, and to pray for him as well.

"The Light Is Breaking Forth in April"
Stepping Into the New
We are in a great prophetic time and season; much is taking place. In prayer recently, the Lord began to show me the significance of the month of April, the fourth month. The Lord showed me that as we stepped into 2022, in January, we had come into a time of transition and deliverance. In this season we celebrate two significant Jewish feasts: Purim and Passover. The festivals celebrate how God moved on behalf of His people as they walked through a season of deliverance.
The past three months have been a time of walking through a valley or, for many, a dark night of the soul. There are many great promises to be fulfilled this year and beyond. Passover is also during Nisan, which celebrates the Jewish new year. Every new season requires a level of deliverance, so we can inhabit the new. God uses these times of transition, the time between the old season and the new season, to strip away the old and make room from the new. Get ready! You're stepping into the new in April.
Developing in the Darkroom of Heaven
The Lord showed me that many feel like they have been walking through a dark tunnel; it's been hard to see what's ahead. It's in the darkness, or hidden place, that we can truly grow and develop. The light reveals what has been taking place in the dark. Just like a photo is developed in a darkroom, I want to encourage you that God has been developing you in the darkroom of Heaven. In a darkroom, if the light is turned on prematurely, or if the photo is exposed to light before it's developed, it will distort the image. God uses these times to develop a greater image of Himself that can be manifested through our lives.
In April and beyond, get ready to see what has been developing in the dark. The light is breaking forth in April!
Clothed in New Garments
As we stepped into the new at the beginning of the year, we were mantled with new promises and new garments. Every season requires a garment change. God uses these seasons of transition as times of transformation, because we have to grow into what we've been mantled with. David describes this journey in Psalm 84:5-7:
"What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings. They will continue to grow stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Jerusalem."
In this passage, we see what the Valley of Weeping would become a place of refreshing. What you've been walking through – a hard place – is going to become a place of blessing. You may not feel like it, but you're growing stronger with each step.
The Threshold and the Open Door
I declare and decree: what was hard these past three months is going to turn around and bless you as you step over the threshold of April. The threshold is always a place of contention. If the enemy can't stop us from getting to the door of a new season or opportunity, he tries to stop us from walking through it.
A threshold is what you step across when you enter a new room or space. It takes you from one place or season into the next. Paul says this in 1 Corinthians 16:9: "There's an amazing door of opportunity standing wide open for me to minister here, even though there are many who oppose and stand against me."
Now, as you step through April, where things have been tight and you've felt a lot of pressure, it's going to open up. The Lord is enlarging your capacity.
Interesting enough, April means "to open." It comes from the Latin word Aprilis, derived from aperire. The meaning of this Latin word references "the opening" or "blossoming" of flowers and trees. How prophetic... This also reminds me of Song of Songs 2:13: "Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere..."
We are in the Hebrew Calendar of Adar, the 12th Hebrew month, meaning fire to expand, to be great or magnificent:--(become) glorious, honorable.
I declare and decree, as you enter April, things are opening up, bursting forth and blossoming with the purposes of God. They will spring forth in your life. April is also related with Easter. This is such a divine and prophetic time of year where we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. The resurrection of Christ is what He desires to do and manifest in our lives. What is the stone that needs to be rolled away in your life? It's time to come out of the dark place.
Get Ready for Increased Angelic Activity and Record Winds
Get ready for increased angelic activity, dreams, and encounters in this season. What you need, God is sending through the angelic. With April being the fourth month, the number four prophetically represents the four winds, and I believe it's connected to the angelic. I had an encounter concerning this a couple years ago, but we can also see throughout Scripture that the angelic relates to the four winds. For instance, Zechariah 6:5  says, "And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of Heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth."
Then again in Revelation 7:1 it says: "After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on Earth or sea or against any tree."
In the natural, we're going to see record news stories about the wind. This will be a very active tornado season. We must pray for the safety of people, but the Lord is releasing the winds (angelic) to release the winds of change and transformation. Watch where these winds show up; it will be a sign of change to come. The winds will even show up in some unusual places where tornadoes are not as common. Change is on the horizon.
A Season of Breakthrough: The Lord Is Rolling the Stone Away!
In this great prophetic season, God is releasing His angels of breakthrough and deliverance. Watch the turnaround and how situations will turnaround overnight. As we partner with the angelic, things will become easier and the pace will pick up. God is removing the obstacles that have been standing in our way and surrounding us. We see this depicted in Matthew 28:2-4. It says:
"Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint."
That which you feel is shaking in your life is really the Lord releasing deliverance. The angel of the Lord is coming to remove the "stone" that's been holding you hostage. God is scattering your enemies that have been surrounding you. Just as the angel sat upon the rock that was rolled away, you will sit upon things that once held you captive. You're coming out of the cave different, like Jesus. Where the enemy meant to bury you, you will rise up in a new way. There's a greater glory being released. The glory is always great after the storm.
Get Ready! Things are opening up in April! Watch for increased angelic activity. God is moving on your behalf. Breakthrough is here! Amen !!!!!

Bible Verses about Healing and Faith
Jesus often told those who he healed, 'Your faith has made you well.' This faith is believing that God is able to heal and willing to do so. Ultimately, faith is believing that what God says is true.

Exodus 15:26
If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.
Bible Verses about Healing and Sickness
Yeshua healed the sick, paralyzed, maimed, mute, and blind. He brought hope and joy to many of those who met him. Even after his resurrection, people were healed by the apostles, and his healing power continues in the Church today.
Matthew 9:35
Yeshua went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

"Where there has been such chaos and such confusion, such attack, such thieving, such delay, such despondency – I am speaking divine order. That which has been out of order, I am now bringing into My divine order, in greater ways than has ever been seen. I am speaking divine alignment."
God is saying there is an acceleration of divine order;  Amos 9:13-15 the swift alignment and acceleration of God bringing things into perfect, divine order, aligning with His way and His strategy; His fulfillment and His recompense. Where the enemy has attempted to come and mess with times and seasons and the appointed time of the Lord, the Lord is bringing forth a greater manifestation of His divine order and divine justice.
It's STILL Birthing Time!
I then heard the Lord say, "Many have felt like they have experienced a stillbirth, but I am speaking, 'It is still birthing time.'"
I knew, immediately, the Lord was saying that whatever the enemy has come and stolen; wherever he has come to kill and destroy; what God has spoken STILL remains. I sensed, so strongly, that what the enemy meant for harm, God will use for good (Genesis 50:20). The words from Romans 8:28 surrounded me: "And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose."
Can You Hear the Sound of MULTIPLE Births?
I heard the Lord say, "Encourage these ones who have found themselves in a place of despondency that I am faithful to fulfill that which I have spoken. I will bring forth that which I have spoken. Can you hear the sound of multiple births?
" I am bringing forth such a fruitfulness in the lives of these ones that they will see supernaturally. They will step into an increase and fruitfulness that could not have come by any way but by My hand and My power. I will do that which I said I will do. I have NOT changed the subject. I am speaking, 'It is still birthing season,' and I will bring forth that which I have spoken (Isaiah 66:9)."

Be aware, don’t allow Grudges to hold back God’s Blessings Over your life !
Matt. 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Matt. 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Matt. 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Matt. 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Grudge Match
•Many times bitterness causes us to hold grudges. When we have ought against our brethren, we should go to them and get it straight rather than hold on to it. Matt. 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
•Holding in grudges changes our behavior and our perception of others. We tend to treat people differently because whatever caused the grudge, we desire to avoid. This brings about walls and barriers so that people can't hurt us. Prov. 19:11 Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.
•But many times we shun the good folks and those that that are good for us because we have built walls that block access to us. We will never stop needing people in this life, but when we have barriers created because of past hurts, we harm all of our future relationships. Lev. 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

It's Time to Come Out of Hiding
Recently, as I was praying about what to share for our church growth and direction in 2022, the Lord directed me to 1 Samuel 24. David had been on the run from King Saul who, because of his own jealousy and insecurity, was intent on killing him. In an attempt to avoid detection, David's life had been one of wandering in the wilderness and hiding in dark caves.
I sensed the Lord highlighting verse 8. Here we read this: "Then David went out of the cave and called out to Saul..."
David came out of hiding and confronted that which he had been avoiding.
He stepped out and spoke up.
He made himself visible and vocal again.
Maybe recently you've been hiding. Perhaps the pressure became too much; you were overwhelmed with fear; you've been exhausted and empty; others have misunderstood or attacked you and you feel wounded and broken.
It could be, like David, others are jealous and insecure around you. They're threatened by your success, ability, and gifting. And so, they're intent on tearing you down.
It has caused you to withdraw away from everything and everyone. You've been running away from anything which feels like a threat. You've crawled into a corner and isolated yourself. Your voice has been silenced and your goal has been just to get through another day.
God is saying: "It's time to come out of hiding."
Proven Trustworthy in the Wilderness
Perhaps like David, you had a significant calling on your life. You had prophecies and promises spoken over you. Yet, you look at your current circumstances and your life is so far removed from what God has said.
You were once an anointed, bold giant-killer with big dreams. Now you're a frightened fugitive, living a small and silent existence.
You have begun to doubt God's Word. "Maybe it was all wrong," you think to yourself. Or perhaps you've messed up and missed it. It makes no sense. Why would God speak such great things over you and bring you to a place as low as this?
God is saying: "It's time to come out of hiding."
Confront what you've been avoiding. Face up to your fears and your foes; His promises still stand; His Word is still true.
You have been formed and forged in adversity. You have been tested and proven trustworthy in the wilderness. You have been prepared through the pressure and developed dependence on the Lord in the darkness.
You needed the time away from the crowds and the noise. You weren't ready. But now it's time to step out and speak up – to become visible and vocal and to emerge from the cave and embrace the calling.
Look at what Saul says when he sees David: "I know that you will surely be king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hands." (v. 20)
Others, including even your enemies, are more aware of the anointing and significant calling on your life than you currently are. As you find the courage to come out of hiding, your calling will be reaffirmed and your confidence will start to return.
It doesn't mean everything will happen instantly. But the dreams and desires in your heart will be reignited. You will begin to move forward towards your destiny. You will progress towards your purpose.
Isolation and obscurity were good for a season. The Lord used it to protect and prepare you. But that season has now ended. You were never supposed to live in the darkness or desert. You are anointed for and called to so much more.
It's time to come out of hiding.
"After Saul returned from pursuing the Philistines, he was told, 'David is in the Desert of En Gedi. (‘Meaning "spring of a kid," a place on W. shore of the Dead Sea.)
So Saul took three thousand able young men from all Israel and set out to look for David and his men near the Crags of the Wild Goats. He came to the sheep pens along the way; a cave was there, and Saul went in to relieve himself. David and his men were far back in the cave." (1 Samuel 24:1-3)
"Then David went out of the cave and called out to Saul..." (1 Samuel 24:8)
Blueprints for Building
I saw the Lord handing out scrolls to His people. They were 'BLUEPRINTS FOR BUILDING' – building for your future; building your business; building your ministry; building your family; building your relationships; building His Kingdom.
Some people were taking the scrolls, opening them, and studying them closely as they put them into action. Others were simply walking around with them but doing nothing with them – they were aimless and purposeless.
The Lord is giving specific instructions, detailed directions, precise plans, strategies for success and blueprints for blessing. But your future will depend on how closely you follow His revelation.
This is not a time for passivity or procrastination. It is a time to put into action what the Lord is telling you to do. It is a time to build, create, initiate, implement, shift, relocate, reorient, and reinvent.
Lean into the Spirit. Listen and write, then move and make.
The timid and fearful will say: "But what about the darkness? But what about the pandemic? But what about the restrictions? But what about the economy? But what about the government?"
But the Lord would say, "This is an opportune time, a decisive moment; take hold of it. Make bold moves. Go all in. Do not hold back any longer. Ignore the doubters. Silence the inner critic. Great faith will bring great favor."
Know that your God is with you, He is for you. Follow His blueprints for blessing.
"And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, 'Let us rise up and build.' Then they set their hands to this good work." (Nehemiah 2:18)
"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes." (Isaiah 54:2)
"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." (Ecclesiastes 11:4)

R.E.C./Beit Tikkun Family,  God has a plan for you in 2022!  (Jewish year 5782)
As the secular year comes to a close, many Believers are recommitting themselves to pursuing God with all of their might, to be more fervent in prayer, and to diligently seek to be a blessing to others in the coming year.
One true test of our walk with God is living a Spirit-led life in the midst of a secular world.
Think on These Things
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.”  (1 Timothy 6:6)
If we need a new start in life, or if we desire a new beginning in 2022, your faithfulness to God and our ministry and especially Praying for Israel is one of the best places to find inspiration.
Here in our own land, and especially in Israel and around the world, we could dwell on the negatives: the wave of terror, the threat of ISIS, the high cost of living, the secular godless people in our government, and in the land of Israel and the Arab-Israeli situation, the increasing international pressure on Israel to divide Jerusalem and desist in building houses for Israelis, the persecution of Messianic Jewish Believers . . .
Our list could go on and on. . .
But why focus on the negative when we can choose to say, “Baruch HaShem” and praise God for all the wonderful and amazing things He has done in our life, and in the reborn State of Israel, which has only existed since 1948, just after the Holocaust.
In the War of Independence in 1948, Israel's enemies outnumbered her four to one!  And yet she triumphed because God miraculously intervened!
Even today, the people of Israel are surrounded by hostile neighbors 60 times their population!  And yet, Israel continues to thrive just as we will thrive as ministry.
We are also grateful for the support of people like you who support our church!
And we thank God daily for you, as we remember His blessings and the ways He is supernaturally providing for this ministry to reach our community with the truth of God’s word, and with the salvation message of eternal life through Yeshua, and the Power of Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit).
New Beginnings: Remembering Who He Is
"Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced.”  (1 Chronicles 16:12)
According to the Bible, we are all called to remember.
For example, in Israel, most of the national holidays are days of remembrance recalling tragic events:
  • Holocaust Memorial Day remembers the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
  • Yom HaZikaron (Day of Remembrance or Memorial Day) honors all the fallen soldiers and terrorist victims.
  • Tisha B'Av remembers the destruction of the First and Second Holy Temples in Jerusalem.
While it is important to keep these events alive in our memory, perhaps it is even more important to look back at the ways God has blessed us, saved us, healed us, helped us, and provided for our needs, just as He has blessed Israel, God will bless us for our faithfulness.
Thankfulness is one of the keys to living a blessed life, and we will not be thankful if we fail to reflect on His blessings. Remember, whatever you give thanks to will come towards us!
“From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing.”  (Jeremiah 30:19)
An Even Greater Miracle
Since the first coming of Yeshua (Jesus) 2000 years ago, God is performing His greatest supernatural intervention in our ministry, and in the nation of Israel right now before our very eyes!
During the time of Moses, God miraculously parted the Red Sea and delivered approximately 600,000 Jewish men out of that one nation.  If we include women and children, the exodus population was likely 2.5 million.  (Exodus 12:37)
In 1948, there were 800,000 Jews living in Israel.  Amazingly, and in fulfillment of biblical prophecy, over the last 73 years God has brought over 3,340,000 Jewish immigrants from 70 different countries back to their Promised Homeland of Israel by land, water, and air!  With population growth, today there are 6.9 million Jews in Israel.
This is an amazing miracle that fulfills so many Bible prophecies, which the Hebrew prophets uttered so long ago.  How many have longed to see their fulfillment and, yet, our generation is privileged to live in this prophetic time period!
“‘However, the days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where He had banished them.’  For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.”  (Jeremiah 16:14–15; see also Isaiah 43:5)
Who would have believed, even 30 years ago, that over a million Jews would come out of Russia into the Land of Israel, fulfilling the prophecies of Jeremiah and Isaiah?
At that time, it was a Communist country and no one could leave!
Even today Israel we take the return of Russian Jews to Israel for granted, it is a miracle and the fulfillment of prophecy
Despite all odds, over 1.2 million people have come from the former Soviet Union, resulting in a 20 percent increase in Israel’s population.
The last state-organized aliyah (literally, going up) of over 9,000 Falashmura (Ethiopian Jews who were pressured to convert to Christianity in the 19th and 20th centuries) was approved.

Other campaigns brought home 7,000 Ethiopian Jews with Operation Dove's Wing in 2013; 14,000 with Operation Solomon in 1991; and 8,000 with Operation Moses in 1984.
This, too, is in fulfillment of end-time Bible prophecy.
"In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people — those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands."  (Isaiah 11:11)
In the last few years, record numbers of Jews have made aliyah to Israel from the Ukraine (due to instability caused by war) and from France (due to rising anti-Semitism and violence).
This year, 4000 Jews from the United States received their Israeli citizenship upon moving to Israel.
Thirty years ago there were 3.5 million Jews in the Greater New York Area and only three million here in Israel.
Today, there are about 2 million Jews in New York City and over 6.9 million here in Israel!
Also in 2021, more than 500 Jews from South Africa moved to Israel, the highest amount since the end of apartheid in 1994.
In total, aliyah increased by 31% in 2021, with more than 22,000 Jews moving to their homeland.
Surely these are signs that we are in the end of days, approaching the return of the Messiah.
A New Beginning for the State of Israel!
I also believe God is giving us a New Beginning in our ministry!
“Who has ever heard of such things?  Who has ever seen things like this?  Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?  Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”  (Isaiah 66:8)
The Prophet Isaiah asked, “Can a nation be born in a day?”
As unbelievable as it seems, the answer to that question is a resounding yes!  The nation of Israel was born in one day on May 14th, 1948.
Today, Israel is made up of Jews from about 70 different nationalities.  Nine out of every 10 Israeli citizens are either a first or second generation immigrant.

Furthermore, the survival of the Hebrew language and Jewish culture is absolutely incredible considering the fact that it generally only takes about two generations in a new country for the language of one’s country of origin to be forgotten.  Israel was dispersed to the nations for an astonishing two thousand years!
Before Israel became a state in 1948, God raised up a man by the name of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda who resurrected Hebrew as a spoken language in the late 1800s.
At that time Hebrew was only used in synagogues and for religious purposes. Today, however, Hebrew is once again the spoken language of the people in Israel.  Even Arab Israelis speak Hebrew. Thank God the Hebrew Roots of the Christian faith is growing more and more in the Body of Christ!
The Desert Blossoms
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. ...The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.”  (Isaiah 35:1–2)
Believers in Yeshua around the world, and the People of Israel are living a modern miracle of God!
Even the land of Israel itself is experiencing revival.  Israel has the highest per capita percentage of agricultural production.
The Prophet Isaiah said that the wilderness will blossom and rejoice once again, and that the glory of Carmel and Sharon will come to the Arava (desert).  (Isaiah 35:1–2)
This prophecy is being fulfilled literally as the crops once grown in the fertile northern Carmel and Sharon regions of Israel are now also being grown in the southern Negev Desert.
The world has struggled with the problem of desertification over the past 60 years.  The reverse trend is happening in Israel.  Israel’s deserts are actually shrinking as they produce olives, grapes, pomegranates, and other crops.
 Streams in the Desert
“Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.  The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs.”  (Isaiah 35:6–7)
Isaiah prophesied that water would "gush forth" in the wilderness and streams would flow in the desert.
This is good news since the Negev covers at least 55 percent of The Land.  That’s about 4,700 square miles (12,000 square km).
This desert is rocky with dusty mountains, crater-like makhteshim (box canyons), wadis (dry riverbeds that bloom briefly after rain) and deep craters.
The word Negev (Modern Hebrew) is Negheb in the Hebrew Scriptures.  It comes from a Hebrew root meaning dry and is also used in Scripture for the direction south.
Several years ago, a man approached the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) with what seemed to be a crazy scheme to dig for water in the high plateau area of Ramat HaNegev.  He was turned down.
This plateau area is between 370 and 520 meters above sea level with extreme temperatures in summer and winter.  It gets 100 mm of rain per year.  The soil is considered inferior and partially salty.
Undeterred, this man invested his own money to dig 600 meters underground.  He said that when he finally hit the underground aqueduct, the water gushed 60 meters into the air!
Today, at the Ramat HaNegev site, dates, pomegranates and grapes grow next to a lake.
Israel is even seeing successful fish farms, quite often Tilapia, established in the Negev.  Fish farms in a desert—now that's incredible!
Hidden Treasure
“They shall call the people to the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck [yanak-nurse] of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hidden in the sand.”  (Deuteronomy 33:19)
It has been said in the past that the only natural resource Israel possesses is the Jewish mind.  This is simply not true anymore.
A few years ago, Israel discovered 122 trillion units of natural gas off the Mediterranean Coast.
And due to the ingenuity of Israel’s desalination water plants, more than a quarter of Israel's water supply for its citizens is desalinated.
This means that not only will Israel be independent for her oil, gas and water needs in the near future, but also she might even become an exporter of these precious resources to the world.
In fact, an Israeli company opened the “largest desalination plant in the Western Hemisphere” near San Diego, producing 190 million liters of water daily to aid in California's historic drought.  (JPost)

David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, publicly pronounced
the Declaration of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948 in Tel Aviv.
Can These Bones Live?
“And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way.”  (Isaiah 35:8)
Isaiah speaks not only about the physical revival of the land, but also a spiritual revival of the people.
All the prophets of God promised a spiritual restoration for His people Israel (that’s you and me) will be even more exciting than this amazing physical resurrection of the Land.
The prophet Ezekiel said that after God brings us out of the nations and into our Land, He will cleanse us from our filth, our sin, and our idols — and He will sprinkle clean water on us, and we will be clean.  (Ezekiel 36:25–28)
One of the most dramatic prophecies of this restoration is the vision of the valley of dry bones:
“Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!  This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.  I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life.  Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”  (Ezekiel 37:4–6)
The Jewish people who have moved to Israel, are the dry bones that have come to life as the Nation of Israel, from all four corners of the earth.
But Israel and the Jewish people still need the breath of God—His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)—they need Yeshua as he said: “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.”  (John 11:25)
As 2022 is around the corner we wish you a new year filled with promise and hope.

Subject: Prayer over Fear & Anxiety
Conquering Fear is a matter of choice !
We have to trust in God at all times because He is able !
God is our refuge and our strength, our every present help in trouble. We trust You, Lord. You are our hope and salvation. Thank you for the privilege to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, because when we do, a thousand may fall at our left side and ten thousand at our right hand. But nothing shall harm us, as children of the Most High God.
Father we ask that you strengthen our limbs, and steady weak knees so we can tell those who are terrified to be brave, don’t be afraid. Our God will come with vengeance, with divine revenge; He will come and rescue us.
Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise. In God, I trust and I am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
We will not be afraid, for God is with us. We will not be intimidated, for our God will sustain us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Everything he did for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He can do for us.
We let go of all fear of the coronavirus and place our trust in God. He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think or even dare to imagine, according to the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. To Him all glory is given. We will not worry about tomorrow – God will take care of us.
Father, we turn our anxiety over to You because You love us unconditionally and gave Your Son that we might have life and have it abundantly.
We declare, Father God, that we have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God, and we hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart. God’s love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit and abides richly in us.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 29:11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.
Declarations over fear and anxiety
Abba Father, You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power and of a sound, well-balanced mind. No fear exists where His love is.
We are overcomers. We destroy the works of the enemy right now, in Jesus’ name. Satan’s plan for destruction will be brought to naught, as it will be used by God for good. We will not speak negativity or second-guess God’s promises for us, for His promises are “Yes” and “Amen”.
I forbid any sickness and disease to operate in our bodies – every cell, every tissue, every organ within our bodies are functioning as our awesome God created it to function. We are made in the image and likeness of God.
We cast out any trace of Covid-19 from the people of this nation and forbid it to operate in the world!
Thank You that You cause our thoughts to be agreeable to Your will, so our plans will be established and will succeed. In Jesus’ name! So Be It! Amen and Amen!
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Yeshua Messiah.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.
Oh Lord, my God, grant me peace in my heart, eliminate the pain and relieve me of the stress I feel. Allow Your serenity and love to consume me.
Relax my mind, my body and my soul as I surrender myself to You. Revive the joy and energy I once had. Allow Your light to infiltrate through the darkness and grace me so I can smile again.
Lord, help me not to be overwhelmed by this situation but to walk confidently in Your Word. Remove any fear. And fill me with Your strength and courage to overcome these stressful times. in Yeshuas' name I pray, Amen.
John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:1 – Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. my iPhone

1 Timothy 1:1 - Paul, an apostle of Yeshua Messiah according to the commandment of God our Savior and Yeshua Messiah our hope;
1 Timothy 5:5 - Now she who is a widow indeed and desolate, has her hope set on God, and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.
1 Timothy 6:17 - Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

Hebrews 3:6 - but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
Hebrews 6:11 - We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,

Hebrews 6:19 - This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
Hebrews 7:19 - (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Hebrews 10:23 - let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.
1 Peter 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua Messiah, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:13 - Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Yeshua Messiah —
1 Peter 1:21 - who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.
1 Peter 3:5 - For this is how in the past, the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.
1 Peter 3:15 - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear,
1 John 3:3 - Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
2 John 1:12 - Having many things to write to you, I don’t want to do so with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be made full.
3 John 1:14 - but I hope to see you soon. Then we will speak face to face. Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

Shalom Brethren,
We are coming to the end of another crazy year. I pray everyone has stayed safe and healthy. Even though COVID attempted to derail many Feast and Sabbath gatherings this year, but thank God, that the LORD prevailed and the gatherings happened.
Now more than ever believers need to be motivated to put aside theological differences and gather for the Feasts and Especially the Sabbaths.
The adversary is attempting to sow discord and fear, and the LORD is calling us to come together and bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The LORD won’t be defeated, and neither will we. El Shaddai goes before us and is our strength. While the testing that started in 2020 has also continued this year, we have been encouraged by your resilience to join with us to remain steadfast in teaching the Scriptures to the world.
Churches are awakening, pastors are asking questions, and the LORD continues to open new doors for us to spread the Messianic message to various different Christian denominations all over the world. Truly, it appears we are in the birth pains as described in the prophecies. We must be steadfast to not fear, lose heart, or grow weary of doing what the LORD has commanded of us!!
R.E.C./Beit Tikkun Ministries has had a challenging year also, but we have pressed on. We know that many are hurting financially. Many are forced to survive on lower incomes than they are accustomed to. This is why we have increased our efforts to get in-person, and online. Starting in October, we expanded our weekly services to meeting on Tuesday at 7Pm for Torah Study and Prayer. We are also working on to increase our Media, social media, and our websites, with a streaming platform on YouTube and Facebook.
Even though we didn’t meet our financial asset goal in the last two years, we have been blessed with a good church to rent to continue to share God messages of Truth .  Next year we are already planning to move forward with many end time teachings to prepare us for what’s ahead of us.
With the fiscal year of 2021 coming to a close, we ask if you would prayerfully consider making a Special Donation to our Ministry before December 31st, so we can start 2022 in the Positive. In 35 years of serving the LORD, the 4th quarter is always the hardest financially on any ministry. We cannot sustain without the help of the LORD through believers like yourself. To thank you for your Tithes and Offerings, and your Special donation of any amount.
Join me as we continue to study the Truth of God’s word and His Prophecies of Israel and what it truly means for a believer to become One New Man in Messiah Yeshua. We have to learn how are all believers are adopted into Israel, and what is God’s plan for all believers in Messiah. It is my prayer that these messages will edify all believers, whether they have been Messianic for years or are still in Sunday churches. What does the Scripture say about believers and their promises in Messiah as we face these End Times?
Your support and your gifts is the LORD’s provision to sustain us for today and to encourage us to go forward. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, and your prayers on our behalf, and your generous gifts that enable us to continue serving our Heavenly Father and ministering to the brethren.
Keep your eyes on Yeshua and on Jerusalem. Amen !
In His Service Together,
Pastor Hector Gomez

America IS FALLEN, Babylon is FALLEN and Become the House Of Every Unclean and Four Bird…
Three things are happening to America that will bring in military rule (we had to do it), and they are:
1.    People refusing the jab
2.    People who have died from the “jab” a million or more now
3.    People who are maimed from the jab and cannot work
These three groups are now leaving the work force in mass and creating work shortages that are causing supply line breaks, medical establishment breaks and so on as part of a well-planned the agenda.
The so-called Nazi-Communist governors and underlings of the Psalm Two Antichrist “authorities” are now free to bring in their military forces to take the place of the workers and thus establish a MARTIAL LAW STATE. This was the plan from the very beginning. If it does not work, a FALSE FLAG EVENT OF GREAT MAGNITUDE WILL BE USED.
The other side to this is a possible revolution against these godless antichrist “controllers” will likewise bring in a MARTIAL LAW STATE as it will cause a “national security” issue which triggers the UN Article Seven response and a total takeover of the UN/China 4th Beast of Daniel. Either way, America, as we have known it has already ceased to exist and the communist/Marxist coup has become a success beyond words! America will soon merge into the 4th Beast One World Order just as Bible prophecy said it would.

It is amazing as how rapidly America fell under the Antichrist forces via this medical tyranny, with the medical establishment’s total corruption. It is amazing and a wonderous thing to watch doctors, nurses, pharmacies, and the military all become serial killers and not even ask any questions. They line up to kill their own families as well their neighbors or anyone who offers their arm to this so-called DNA changing “jab” which is a killing machine via injection.
This is the power of propaganda and weaving a web of deception and delusion, just as the Bible said was coming in the last days. You are watching the “cockatrices” eggs of Isaiah that KILL all who take it come to pass right under your noses.
This is what happens when people leave the precious Word of God. Eternal death awaits the vast number of Americans as they totally abandon all logic and common sense. They are bowing down and licking the black boots of tyranny and loving every bit to be so and any resistance has been taken into account.
The American people are now slaves, dead inside, no real soul, no freedom whatever, broken, destitute of meaning, and for practical purpose, zombies, with no mind of their own, unable to resist.  Satan laid a trap for the people of America and the world, and 98% are now ensnared and cannot escape.
We are watching the final end of things as humanity is turned into a hybrid cyborg, then into a synthetic entity as the cockatrice eggs do their work over a short span of time. Once again the Scriptures prove their 100% accuracy and the more they do, it appears more folks turn their backs upon the Word. So it is, and so it goes.
Chairman Xi of China is very correct in his assessment of the American people, and how they have become so apathetic and lifeless that the China/UN 4th Beast will have a very easy time in the complete take-over America. He is sadly very correct.
Just as Jesus shows no mercy whatever to His rejected followers in Matthew Seven, so to does Satan show no mercy to those who follow him. There is only ONE escape in the Church Age, and it is called the STRAIT GATE AND NARROW WAY. After the Church is removed, it is OF WITH YOUR HEAD. Do not chose Mammon and saving your life here! Chose death and leave this evil world behind. Chose life, not death!!

In order to give God our financial cares, we must make good decisions with our money. Prov. 24:27 [Put first things first.] Prepare your work outside and get it ready for yourself in the field; and afterward build your house and establish a home.
• We cannot turn away from God to make questionable financial decisions and then turn back to Him for help when we fail. James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
• When financial woes are out of our control, we can give that to God. However, our own bad financial decisions belong to us and they can lead to terrible consequences. Prov. 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
• The best way to ensure that our finances stay intact is by giving. Supporting the ministry where God has placed you to be spiritually fed, and giving to others will keep us financially blessed by God. Luke 6:38a Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
• The Bible says that by the measure that we give, that same measure He will give to us. Luke 6:38b For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
• It is selfish to receive from a ministry and not financially support it. This selfishness will hinder our monetary blessings. Gal. 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Shabbat Shalom R.E.C./Beit Tikkun Family!
Welcome to this week’s Torah study, which is called Chayei Sarah (Life of Sarah).
Please join with us as we study the portion of Scripture that will be read in synagogues around the world this Shabbat (Saturday).  We know you will be blessed by this Parasha (Torah portion) as it highlights how we can live worthy of leaving a legacy for future generations.
CHAYEI SARAH (Life of Sarah)
Genesis 23:1–25:18; 1 Kings 1:1–31; 1 Peter 3:1–7
“And the life of Sarah [Chayei Sarah] was a hundred and seven and twenty years; these were the years of the life of Sarah.”  (Genesis 23:1)
Although the title of this week’s Parasha, Chayei Sarah (חַיֵּי שָׂרָה), means Life of Sarah, it initially focuses on her death.  This corresponds with the Judaic thought that the awareness of death gives more meaning to life.
Sarah is the only woman in the Bible to have a Parasha named after her.  What an honor!  All the other Biblical characters that Parashot are named after are men:  Balak, Pinchas, Korach, Noach and Yitro.  This underscores how important the matriarch Sarah is to our faith.
Sarah dies in Kiryat Arba, and her funeral is the first to be recorded in the Torah.
Last week’s Parasha (Vayera) ended with Abraham’s ultimate test — the binding and near sacrifice of his beloved son, Isaac (Yitzchak); but God provided an adult male ram for a sacrifice instead.  One must wonder what went through the mind of Isaac’s mother, Sarah.
Did she even know for what purpose Abraham departed with their son?  Did she worry that her joy — her reason for laughter — Yitzchak — may not return home alive to her?
Scripture does not address this; however, in the Brit Chadashah (New Testament), we do read of Sarah’s radical obedience to her husband as an example of faith and courage that women of God are encouraged to emulate:
“For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves.  They submitted themselves to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.  You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.”  (1 Peter 3:5–6)
Sarah demonstrated this radical obedience to her husband — first by leaving everything behind, including her home and family, to follow Abraham to a new land.  She did not know where they were going and had to live inside a tent in the desert like a stranger.
In order to protect her husband, she even agreed twice to enter a foreign king’s harem where she could have potentially been greatly harmed and defiled.  Still, even in this, she obeyed her husband.
God rewarded Sarah’s obedience and did indeed rescue her from Pharaoh's and King Abimilech’s harems.  Clearly it was God who did not allow the King of Gerar to touch Sarah:
“And God said to him in a dream, ‘Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart.  For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.’”  (Genesis 20:6)
There is only one way that Sarah could have walked in such radical obedience — and that is through absolute faith and trust in God.  She may not have trusted her imperfect husband who was willing to sacrifice his wife to save his own skin, but she trusted God to protect and preserve her from all evil.
Many believe that Sarah lacked faith when she gave her servant Hagar to Abraham in order to raise up children for him.  Jewish tradition, however, holds that Sarah was convinced that God would be true to His promise to bring forth nations through Abraham, and that she was acting in faith.
Hagar was not just any servant, either.  Sarah personally trained her in faith.  Moreover, it is quite possible that she was Pharaoh's daughter.
The fact that Hagar conceived (and Sarah did not) caused Hagar to think that she was more spiritual and, therefore, more blessed than Sarah.  In her pride, she exalted herself over Sarah.
When the three angels visited Abraham, Sarah understood that the child of promise would come through her.
Bearing Fruit in Our Latter Years
“They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be vigorous and flourishing.”  (Psalm 92:14)
Sarah gave birth to Yitzhak (Isaac) at 90 years of age.
This shows us that we are not expected to idly sit in our rocking chairs as we reach our golden years; we can remain vital and active.
Both Abraham and Sarah achieved significant accomplishments, not in their youth, but in the last years of their life.
This is in keeping with an old Jewish saying:  “At 40 one is fit for discernment, at 50 for counsel, at 80 for special strength.”
Caleb is an example of this.  He was one of only two people out of a generation of millions to enter the Promised Land, and he asked for a mountain to conquer at 85-years-old!
“And now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.  As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.  Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day.”  (Joshua 14:10–12)
Although it has become politically incorrect to ask a woman her age, Scripture does not hesitate to reveal Sarah’s age at her death
The numerical value of the opening term of this Parasha (vayih’yu [וַיִּהְיוּ֙] / and was) adds up to the sum of 37, which is the same as the difference between the age of Sarah when she gave birth to Isaac at 90 years old and her death at 127.
These 37 years were surely some of the best years of Sarah’s life as she raised the child that she and Abraham had hoped and prayed for most of their adult lives.
The Torah shows Sarah as her husband’s partner in life and his equal.  In Jewish oral tradition, they are both considered to have been excellent teachers in their own right, with Sarah teaching the women and Abraham teaching the men.
She completely shared Abraham’s journey with God in a spirit of faith, courage, and if necessary, self-sacrifice.
She endured being uprooted from her native land, being barren (considered a curse in Middle Eastern culture) until the age of 90, being held captive, and being exposed to the advances of foreign kings (twice).
Through it all, she remained faithful to God, to her husband, and to her calling.
Obviously, Sarah was a beautiful woman.  So beautiful, in fact, that Abraham resorted to calling her his sister to protect himself from the gangs of marauding soldiers who might be tempted to kill him in order to take his wife.
Even though Sarah was, in fact, his half-sister, this still did not justify the deception that put his wife’s honor at risk.  How did Sarah endure so many difficult trials in her lifetime?
It was through her optimism and inner tranquility that comes only with faith in God that Sarah was able to deal with such adversity.  This was likely part of her appeal and power.
The Bible tells us that we have need of endurance also:
“For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.”  (Hebrews 10:36)
 Behind Every Great Man
“Who can find a virtuous wife [eshet chayil]?  For her worth is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain.“  (Proverbs 31:10–11)
It has often been said that behind every great man is a great woman.  Sarah takes this one step further.  She is the Biblical model of the Godly woman behind the Godly man.
She showed herself to be the great woman who helped ensure the successful continuation of Abraham’s dynasty.
The Life of Sarah is not about her death, therefore, but about her legacy.  Abraham ensures that her legacy continues by setting in motion the finding of a wife for Yitzhak (Isaac).
For that reason, as this Parasha continues, the story becomes more about Isaac’s life, and less about Abraham.
Rabbi J. B. Soloveitchik wrote, “Without Sarah, Avraham takes leave of the world stage.”
A good part of this Parasha centers on how Abraham’s servant located a proper wife for Isaac.
He essentially chose a kind-hearted woman who was capable of decisive, compassionate, Godly action.
She was a woman who would take the time to help a stranger and his animals.
She was also the kind of woman who, once she knew God’s purposes, would not hesitate to act immediately.  As soon as she knew that God had selected her to be Isaac’s wife, she did not let another day pass in fulfilling that destiny, though family members sought to give her an excuse to delay her leaving.
Abraham’s marriage to Sarah and Isaac's marriage to Rivkah (Rebecca) reveal that a partner’s spiritual qualities are far more important than their physical attributes (although beauty and attention to appearance obviously helps).
God has a plan for us.  May we use the wisdom of God to understand that our choice of a life partner will affect how we fulfill our calling and subsequently, the legacy that we leave.
To prepare to leave such a legacy, may we choose partners prayerfully, praying for them even before we meet them.  And may we base our decisions about whom we will marry on spiritual qualities, on whether a potential partner possesses the beautiful inner characteristics of God's chesed (lovingkindness and mercy), grace, selflessness, and benevolence toward all.
For those of us who are already married, we can pray as couples that God will use us to accomplish His purposes.  We can be the kind of partner that helps our spouse walk in his or her destiny.  As well, we should pray that God will give our children a sense of His purpose for their lives.
God worked in the lives of Abraham and Isaac to bring them a suitable partner through whom He would bring forth Israel.  This reminds us that God has a grand plan in which the life of each individual plays a role.
He is still working in the same manner that he was during the time of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, and Rebecca — not only to accomplish His purposes for the Jewish People, but for each of us.
His eye is on every detail of our lives, and He wants us to partner with Him in His purposes.
As the Day of the Lord draws near, please help us proclaim the Word of God to Israel and the nations.
"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved."  (Romans 11:25–26)
Please give a Tithe and an Offering this Shabbat!

I am aware that not all Believers have the same perspective about Halloween. Some still believe it is just another day with little spiritual significance. Many  people and especially parents followed the cultural norm of trick-or-treating and had little information on its origins or implications. As Pastor studying about it for many years, I understand the truths behind this dark ritual that takes place every year and have chosen to override its agenda with God's light.
The truth is, even if YOU don't see it as a spiritual door to dark places, others do. Those who don't believe in God, or those who blatantly hate Him, take advantage of this time of the year to mock, ridicule and take aim at anything holy and pure. It is a time of heightened spiritual activity in the enemy's camp, with the potential for great harm.
The good news is, we can shift the atmosphere in our towns and communities. As this weekend approaches, regardless of your current understanding of this time of year, I pray we can all agree on the following prayers and proclamations to change the focus from dark to light and from death to life:
8 Prayer Points for Christians During Halloween
1. Lift up praise and worship to the only true God.
"For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens." (1 Chronicles 16:25-26)
• Magnify the name of Yeshua above all other names (Luke 10:17; Philippians 2:9-11).
• Declare His lordship in your community, region and nation (2 Kings 19:19). (Photo via Flickr)
• Read psalms of praise to displace the voices of darkness (Psalm 33, 35, 65, 67).
2. Declare your home, community and nation to be a habitation of God's presence.
"There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts His voice, the earth melts." (Psalm 46:4-6)
• Thank God for the wall of protection surrounding His people (Zechariah 2:5).
• Praise Him for the power of His presence that disarms the enemy (Psalm 31:20).
• Declare His rule and reign over all who seek His face (Acts 17:27).
3. Praise God for the power of His Blood to cleanse, redeem and restore.
"...You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled Blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel." (Hebrews 12:23-24)
• Declare the Blood of Yeshua over your life, home, community and nation (1 Peter 1:1-2).
• Cancel any evil intent to offer blood sacrifices unto wickedness (Hebrews 10:29-31).
• Pray that the Blood of Jesus would cleanse deceived and defiled minds (Hebrews 9:14).
4. Disarm any plans of the enemy to "trick" or deceive.
"...while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of..." (2 Timothy 3:13-14)
• Declare God's righteous boundaries that prevent deception from entry (Psalm 101:7).
• Renounce (refuse to recognize) and cancel any threats of harm or false accusations sent to cause damage or ill-will (Acts 4:29).
• Pray that communications of the enemy would be confused and canceled (Psalm 55:9-10), and counter negative words spoken with the promises of God (2 Corinthians 10:2-6).
5. Declare that the light of truth will dispel any darkness and expose the lies.
"I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness." (John 12:46)
• Pray that self-proclaimed witches and satanists would encounter Jesus (Acts 8:9-13).
• Pray that counterfeits would be exposed, bringing the fear of the Lord (Acts 19:14-17).
• Pray that every evil practice would collide with truth and life (Acts 8:4-8).
6. Speak God's blessings and protection over transportation and communication lines.
"You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you..." (Deuteronomy 28:6-7)
• Pray protection over city streets and citizens young and old (Psalm 121:7-8).
• Pray that the Spirit of truth would be proclaimed and heard (John 16:13-14).
• Bless the roadways and highways with the holiness of God (Isaiah 35:8-10).
7. Pray for the Word of God and message of the Cross to be shared with power.
"...[They] began to argue with Stephen. But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke." (Acts 6:9-10, emphasis added)
• Pray for boldness to declare the truth of the Gospel (Acts 4:31).
• Pray for opportunities to reach non-believers (Acts 17:16-17).
• Pray for oneness of spirit in the community of Believers (Acts 18:9-10).
8. Thank God for His delivering power in defeating all His enemies.
"The Lord says to my lord: 'Sit at My right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'" (Psalm 110:1)
• Thank the Lord for the angelic host who work on our behalf (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10).
• Thank God for the battle that has already been won (John 16:33).
• Praise Him for the victory that is already ours (1 Corinthians 15:57).

• Financial woes can be tough to deal with. When we are financially bound, it can be a heavy burden to carry. Eccl. 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
• When we lose jobs or encounter unexpected financial needs, we can become overwhelmed and anxious. Phil. 4:6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
• Money comes and goes, but we must never allow economic issues to cause us to lose focus on what is important to God. 1Tim. 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Type YoHi ,
Dear Youth Leader (or former youth leader)
It seems
like now more than ever before and Christians and especially those in leadership learning how to be RESILIENT it requires.

Hebrews tells us, “Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
If there was only ice cream and pizza, you do not have to endure.  If life was like Disneyland all the time you do not need to endure that!
The implication of this teaching is that life might not always be easy, but we can build the kind of faith in our youth and ourselves that will be RESILIENT and endure!
I am writing this letter to encourage you in 2 ways:
A.  To share with you a few tools I have learned about building RESLIENT faith.
B. To share with you a REMARKABLE OPPORTUNITY a Christian owned company called Success Vision, which is proving to be resilient in this tough economy as they have incorporated so many practical Bible truths to help their people thrive in the middle of a crazy economy. (Our Vision of Success - YouTube watch now so you understand what I am describing)
You may have heard about the Spartan races that millions of people have now participated in.  I have personally run several of them and have learned so much that applies to this very topic!  This picture of right before I stared my first Spartan race in Breckenridge CO.  It was 13 miles starting at 6000 feet and running to 11,000 feet with about 30 obstacles along the way that each person had to conquer to move on.  I obviously did not look this energetic at the end of the day.

1. THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT-preparing for obstacles
I was so energetic as I started up the mountain, having run a couple of marathons, I thought I could conquer this easily.  I started to hit obstacles (just like we do in our Christian life) that were not announced.  Some were carrying a heavy log for a quarter mile, then continue to run, or walking through a freezing lake, then continuing the trail.  As I looked around at other runners, I realized I had not come prepared with the right gear.  I thought, “Why do so many have gloves, knee pads sunscreen etc.,” which I discovered the answer to along the way.  I found myself with multiple scrapes, punctures and pain wishing I had learned more and prepared better with the right equipment.
This is of course parallel to how we must prepare spiritually NOW before we face obstacles in our faith because they WILL COME!  Get into the Bible in a fresh way, read books, podcasts etc.  We cannot say we are not prepared because of lack of tools to do so.  Get your hands on the right spiritual equipment NOW!
Baked into the Success Vision story is making sure people are prepared with the right tools they day they start.  They want everyone, whether they are an entry level high school grad, or someone more experienced looking for a fantastic career in helping people, while being able to provide for their family in a very generous fashion, to have every tool necessary to succeed on their new job with Success Vision. (Our Vision of Success - YouTube you will not want to miss this inspiring video)
2.  THE RIGHT TRAINING-for specific obstacles
After I had participated in several Spartan races, and endured grueling obstacles, I started to watch exactly how people who were successful, any a given obstacle went about their success.  Most people mindlessly tried to muscle it through.  However, most of those who finished each used technique to master the challenge.  Somewhere they had either learned, or self-taught a better way of attacking the challenge, reserving their strength for the rest of the race and the next obstacle.  Brilliant!  But where could they have learned these mysteries?
It turns out there are plethora of training videos online, and actual course presented by Spartan you can attend.  So, I did, and wow did it make a difference only next race!
I am afraid too often we get on fire for the Lord, or our youth do, then we expect them to just muscle it through life’s challenges they come.  Then when they fail or give up, we might quip, “They just fell away…”  We
must make sure they are trained specifically for the challenges they are facing now or are right around the corner.  It is easy to know what those are and easier still to find training.  Just hunt for it and you will find it!

Success Vision cares about their employees and their customers and knows that excellent training before deployment of new staff is imperative.   Many of their team knew nothing about the Optical business when they started (as it not necessary) but are thriving now as key members of a exciting culture!  They also have ongoing weekly training for their combined staff of 120 people scattered in 15 locations in 4 states all linked together weekly!

This is how committed they are to helping their team develop personally and professionally so their have maximum impact on how clients are treated. Our Vision of Success - YouTube this video will touch your heart!
3.  THE RIGHT PEOPLE-cannot conquer all obstacles alone
One of the great benefits of participating in a Spartan event is when teams do it together.  Teams from schools, workplace, church groups all come with the goal of finishing together.  In this sense it is not an individual sport to them, as they know what many of their teammates cannot make it over some of the obstacles by themselves.  They make it their goal to support and help each other though those obstacles, winter that is scaling a 12-foot wall and using each other as a pyramid to get the one over who cannot or screaming lots of encouragement to those who are on the verge of giving up.  The emotion is palpable!
I started taking my son Cameron, and then my son in-law Jon along for some of the Spartan races and wow, the fulfillment factor (and friendly competition and trash talk) made it a completely bonding experience.

One of the things our young generation desperately needs is a team, a posse to go through life with during their most challenging years.  I have seen you leaders build this kind of comrade and it is a beautiful thing to watch them have each other’s back.  Like a wolf-pack!
Success Vision is so committed to the right people, they refuse just to hire qualified people without the heart for the Lord and to take His gospel to the ends of the earth.  You see even though they are a regular for-profit company, they take much of the profits and use them to fund MISSION TRIPS FOR THE ENTIRE STAFF EVERY YEAR!  (Whoever wants to participate) They present free eye clinics to needy people in villages all over the planet and give away glasses all while sharing the Gospel each year!  Wouldn’t it be great to be a part of a team like that?
Mission team from Success Vision
Well, I want to invite you as a youth leader (or former youth leader) to investigate it.  Most you leaders are bi-vocational, and some struggle to provide well for their family.  But what if you could continue in ministry and provide for you family very well at a life-giving enterprise like Success Vision?  You may be able to stay right where you are living as they are looking to start offices over many states.  In addition, it is a great next step for many of your youth who are graduating, and a great entering into the work world that will keep their hearts burning for Christ.

Statement Of Faith Shema- We believe in One God, as He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1; Hebrews 1) Yeshua – SalvationWe believe that Yeshua is the Son of God, the Messiah, the Eternal One in Whom all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form. He is the Word Who became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the uniquely begotten Son of God, full of grace and truth. (John 1: 1-14; Colossians 2:9)Deity of YeshuaWe believe in the Deity of Yeshua, His virgin birth (Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 7:14; Matt 1: 18-25), His sinless life (Isaiah 53, 2 Corinthians 5:21), His miracles (Matthew 4: 23-25), and His atoning death through His shed blood (Isaiah 53, Daniel 9: 24-27, Romans 3: 21-31, Hebrews 9 &10). We believe in His bodily resurrection (Zechariah 12:10, Zechariah 14, Matthew 28), and in His personal and physical return in power and glory (Daniel 7: 9-14, Matthew 26: 57-64, Revelation 1: 1-18). ScripturesWe believe that the Bible – Genesis through Revelation – is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)SalvationWe believe that Man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of Elohim, and that “...all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). Salvation is the free gift of God to man, apart from works and the Torah. Salvation is by grace through faith in Yeshua, producing works acceptable to God. One may not earn, merit, or keep this eternal salvation by his own efforts. (Ephesians. 2: 8-9, Romans 5 & 6)RedemptionWe believe that the Torah (Five Books of Moses) is God’s teaching, instruction, and direction; a comprehensive summary of God’s Covenants and teachings. (Exodus 19 & 20, Deuteronomy 5, Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Hebrews 8:10, Matthew 5: 17-19). We encourage all believers, both Jew and non-Jew, to affirm, embrace, and practice these foundational teachings and commands as clarified through the words and lifestyle of Yeshua the Messiah, and the understanding given by His Holy Spirit. (Matthew 5: 17-19, John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 7:19, Revelation 14:12).Holy SpiritWe believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as the gift of God promised by Yeshua to all believers. (Matthew 3:11, Luke 24:49, John 14: 16-17, Acts 2: 38-39) We believe and embrace the ministry, operation, and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in the Scriptures, with the gift of tongues being one of the manifestations of the Spirit. (Acts 19: 1-7, I Corinthians 12: 1-11) IsraelWe believe that believers are part of Israel, both natural and wild branches grafted into Israel by the blood of the Messiah (Romans 11). We DO NOT believe or teach that believers have replaced Israel, but rather have become part of, joint-heirs of the promise, and members of the Commonwealth of Israel. (Eph. 2:11), having the Torah written upon their hearts and minds according to the New Covenant. (Romans 11: 11-24, Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Hebrews 8: 8-12)RaptureWe believe in the ingathering (rapture) of the entire congregation of Israel, once scattered to the nations. (Hosea 9:17, Isaiah 49, Isaiah 11:12, Rev. 14) Heaven and HellWe believe in the resurrection of the living and the dead. Those who trust in Yeshua have received eternal life in the presence of God, having their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Heaven). Those who do not believe experience eternal separation from the presence of God, having their names blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of Life (Hell). (Romans 1:18, 1 Corinthians 15, John 5: 19-29, Revelation 3:5; 20 & 21)

"Amos 9 – It's Harvest Time!"
As we all know, the number 8 is the number of new beginnings, and not surprisingly, when I saw it, the first verse talks about ripe fruit, so I knew it was confirmation.
In those first verses, Amos 8:1-2, God asked Amos a question, a simple question, which in turn Amos answered with what he saw – a basket of fruit...ripe, summer fruit. The next thing the Lord says seems completely unconnected, which was, "The end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass by and spare them anymore." Knowing that God would clear up the mystery and make His intentions known, I continued on. I finished the remainder of Amos 8, and when my eyes fell upon Amos 9, I heard the Lord breathe, "THE HARVEST!"
I know many including me and our ministry that there has been recently a dry spell – i.e., a famine – and as Amos 8:11 says, not a famine for food, but a famine "for hearing the words of the Lord."  As a nation there has been a famine of the word of God not being taught correctly and many are in famine when it comes to the word!
God is Sifting Away Impurities for a GREAT Harvest
I believe that God was leading me to this place, the place of ripe, summer fruit – the place of harvest. God was showing me that my fruit is the Word of the Lord, the prophetic word teachings that we have been correctly sharing and bringing light to what is going on around us and around the word in these end times! God is saying  NOW is your harvest time!
A sign of double harvest, in Amos 9:9, the Lord says that He will sift you – me, us – as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet the least kernel shall not fall upon the earth and be lost from His sight. Just this morning, as I was still asking Him for a prophetic word, I said, "Lord, if there is anything in me that is blocking Your word, please show it to me!" Believe me, that is a prayer that He wants to hear, and an answer that He wants to give to you! He led me to Amos 8 and 9 – for you!
He has His eye on you! He is allowing things to happen in this new season, but He is doing it. It is not the enemy, it is the Lord. The reason, my friends, is that He is watchful, because He says that, "All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword..." (Amos 9:10). He is making your sins die by the word – His Word. He is sifting the impurities out of your life, and causing your sins to die by the Sword – the Word of God!
In our congregation and end even in Leadership God showing us a sign – in the spirit – that there were many dying spiritual deaths and many spirits had to leave. Just like vultures consume what is dead ! The vultures were there to consume the spirits as they were leaving !
In the same way, many may still be undergoing a type of "spiritual death" in order for the Lord to release the harvest to you that He wants to release. He is cleansing you, fine-tuning you, removing the last little specks and wrinkles.
Now is a Time of Unprecedented Fruitfulness!
But, good news! He says in Amos 9:13 that the plowman is overtaking the reaper! Acceleration! What would have taken years before is now happening in real time! The Amplified Bible says, "...[that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing]." Listen up everyone who is lining up with His word, this is where you are headed, to a time of unprecedented fruitfulness that is overflowing with goodness and blessing! God promises in verse 15, "'And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them,' says the Lord your God."
Your land is here at R.E.C./Beit Tikkun! The promises of God are here! Whether it is in your business, our ministry, our  relationships, or whatever – it's here! It will be fruitful, and no man will be able to pluck you up out of it. God is simply removing the last little bit of impurity so that you may experience it in its fullness, for His glory!
This also includes former endeavors that went sour. As an example, I used to be in the corporate world, but circumstances happened to cause me to remove me from the corporate world, which lead me into ministry, so I AM sure that God orchestrated it! Anyway, the Lord has been encouraging me to pick up that mantle again, the mantle of business, God business, but this time to allow Him to operate it, using His ideas and His processes. His ideas are different than mine. He has been showing me some things, building upon what I have already been doing for Him. The Master Builder is at it again!
Just like for me, He has plans to bless you and prosper you (see Jeremiah 29:11)! He is working in your life to bring you to that place of overflowing fruitfulness. Allow Him to work in your life and remove the last little bit of dross. It will be well worth the effort! Expect it in 2016!
